Youth Action Council

Youth Action Council (YAC) The Youth Action Council is a group of young people (26 and under) who steer the direction of Wear it Purple. They are the representative body of the demographic for whom Wear it Purple works – young rainbow people and their friends.

The YAC:

• Are involved in executing all Wear it Purple’s projects and community involvement, including idea generation, managing and being on project teams.

• Have meetings every 4 weeks on alternating Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 18:30 AEST/AEDT online.

• Consult with the Board on all matters Wear it Purple is involved in, and regarding areas of potential advocacy.
